What is Legion?

Legion is a platform that aims to bring back ICOs (Initial Coin Offerings) and provide retail access to early-stage crypto projects. It uses a merit-based system rather than focusing solely on wealth to determine allocation.

What is the Legion Score?

The Legion Score is a reputation system that measures your engagement and contributions in the crypto ecosystem. It helps determine your eligibility for token sales and is part of Legion's merit-based approach.

Token Sales

How do sales work on Legion?

- Sales are not first-come-first-serve

- Users from eligible jurisdictions can submit applications

- You specify a specific amount (e.g. $1000) you're willing to purchase tokens for.

- Projects review applications and decide who gets allocation

- If accepted, you'll be approved for the specific amount (e.g. $1000) you provided when applying for the project.

  • You use Legion's app to deposit funds through audited smart contracts - Ensure the network specified for the deposit is Ethereum (L1) unless otherwise stated.

  • You must deposit the amount you are approved for. You cannot deposit less or more. If approved for $1000 for example, you have to deposit exactly $1000. Deposits made on incorrect networks cannot be processed, so double-check the network on your wallet and Legion app.

What happens after I'm approved for a sale?

1. You'll receive an email notification

2. You'll have a specified time window to complete your purchase

  1. Purchase must be made using your embedded Ethereum or Arbitrum wallet on the Wallet page. The network changes for each sale. Sometimes it's Ethereum (L1), sometimes it's Arbitrum. Always verify the required network in the deposit chain column and ensure you're using exactly that network - deposits sent on incorrect networks cannot be processed.

4. Your wallet needs ETH for gas and sufficient USDC for the approved purchase amount

How can I stay safe?

- Legion admins will never DM you first

- Verify emails come from [email protected]

- Always access the platform through legion.cc

- Never share private keys

- Be cautious of fake/imitation Discord servers

- Follow the steps in the app for transactions - don't send funds directly to smart contracts

What are common scams to watch out for?

- Fake Discord servers with similar names

- Impersonators using Collab.Land app

- Unsolicited DMs claiming to be Legion staff

- Requests for private keys or wallet access

- Unofficial links or email domains
