How do sales on Legion work? Is it first-come-first-serve?

Legion operates on merit-based community access. Sales are not first-come-first-serve, which means bots cannot snipe opportunities.

When a sale launches, eligible users can submit applications based on their jurisdiction. Each project determines which jurisdictions are excluded.

During application, you specify an amount (e.g., 1000 USDC) you're willing to invest.

Once you have submitted your application, we are unable to make any changes. All application submissions are final.

If you withdraw any application, you will not be able to submit again.

After submission, projects review applications to select participants. Projects set their own review deadline, typically at least 48 hours after applications open.

Your application will have one of two outcomes:

  1. You are not invited to buy any tokens

  2. You are invited to buy a specific amount

If invited, you'll use Legion's app to deposit funds into our audited, battle-tested smart contract. You can deposit from an external wallet or from the non-custodial embedded wallets on your 'Wallet' page.

For liquid token sales, the team deposits their tokens and can withdraw the raised USDC to their treasury. You can withdraw tokens to the same wallet address you used for participation.

For pre-liquid token sales, you sign a SAFT/TPA with the team when making your deposit. The team withdraws USDC to their treasury, and at the future TGE, they deposit tokens to the smart contract. You can then withdraw tokens to your participating wallet address.

I applied for a Sale. What's next?

When your application shows "In Review" status, it means the project is still evaluating your application.

Projects independently review applications and select token purchasers. Since Legion doesn't make these decisions, we cannot explain why applications are rejected.

  • ETH tokens for gas fees - Without ETH, you cannot complete any transactions!

  • The full amount of USDC for your purchase (for example, if you're approved to purchase 2,000 USDC worth of tokens, having only 1,999 USDC will prevent the transaction)

Can I request a refund?:

Refund policies on the Legion platform are structured to provide users with a transparent and clear understanding of their rights and limitations. This block consolidates refund eligibility insights and additional considerations to help users navigate the refund process effectively.

Refund Eligibility:
Refunds are only available for a 14-day period following the conclusion of a token sale. After this window, refunds cannot be processed under any circumstances. This policy ensures consistency and fairness for all users.

How to Check Refund Eligibility: To verify if you are still eligible for a refund, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Legion account.

  2. Navigate to the specific project's page associated with the token sale.

  3. Open the View Details section for that particular sale.

  4. Look for the "Refund" option: - If the "Refund" button is visible, the sale is still within the 14-day refund window, and you are eligible to request a refund. - If there is no "Refund" button, the 14-day eligibility window has expired, and refunds are no longer available. Please note that once a refund is processed or an application to a pre-sale is canceled, some actions cannot be undone. Users cannot re-apply to a presale after canceling their application and receiving a refund. This restriction is clearly communicated during the cancellation process to support well-informed decisions.
IMPORTANT Refund requests must be initiated within the defined 14-day window. Be aware of the finality of refund-related actions to avoid unintended cancellation consequences. Additionally, regular cancellation of applications may impact your Legion score and potential acceptance for future sales. It is advisable to consider this and make early decisions regarding your participation in projects. For further assistance or clarification, contact Legion Support.
