In Nigeria, NIMC/NIN slips are recognized as official identity documents. However, they are typically self-printed and lack standard security features. These slips often contain limited personal information and in some cases, may omit key details such as the date of birth. While they primarily serve as a reference to the individual's National Identification Number (NIN), proper verification would require access to the NIN database, which is not currently part of the integration. As such and in the interest of maintaining high standards for identity verification, the NIN slip is currently disabled as a supported document.

For ID cards in Nigeria we currently accept the National e-Identity Card, a Voter's card, and their Seafarer's ID Card.

In addition to this, we also support International Passports and Drivers License as accepted KYC documents.
