How to Create Your Own Backstage Community

Backstage communities are exclusive hubs within Legion where members can connect, collaborate, and access project-specific opportunities. This article shows you how to join or create a backstage community.

🧱 Building Your Community

If you’re an influencer, project founder, or community leader looking to build your own community on Legion, you can create a Backstage Community.
To set it up, please provide the following:

  • Community Name – e.g. Integral

  • Referral Code – e.g. integral (this will be used for invites and tracking members)

  • Logo – 1:1 aspect ratio image (e.g. 500x500px)

  • Description – a short summary of your community’s purpose, mission, or theme

Once you’ve submitted these details via the Legion Support Webchat, the Legion team will review and set up your Backstage community.
After it’s live, you’ll receive confirmation and can start inviting your followers or members using your referral code.

🚪 Joining a Backstage Community

If you’ve been invited to join a Backstage community:

  1. Go to the Legion homepage and log in to your account.

  2. Hover over your profile icon in the top-right corner until you see Backstage.

  3. Click Backstage, then enter your invite code to join your community.

You’ll now gain access to that group’s exclusive discussions, updates, and opportunities.

Building a Backstage community is a great way to:

  • Bring your audience onto Legion

  • Reward your most engaged followers

  • Create a private space for early access, giveaways, or project discussions
