How to Get USD1 for the Sport.fun Sale

For the Sport.fun public sale on Legion, USD1 is the only accepted deposit currency.

USDC and other stablecoins will not be accepted for this sale.

To help users acquire USD1 easily, Legion provides an in-app swap and bridge experience powered by LI.FI, which allows you to convert supported assets into USD1 before depositing.

How to Get USD1 on Legion

Step 1: Go to the Sport.fun Sale Page

Navigate to the Sport.fun sale on Legion and enter the pre-deposit flow.

You’ll see a button labelled “Get USD1.”


Step 2: Click “Get USD1”

Clicking this button opens the LI.FI swap widget automatically.

  • No additional steps

  • No redirects

  • The widget is pre-configured to swap into USD1


Step 3: Swap or Bridge Into USD1

Within the LI.FI widget, you can:

  • Swap from supported tokens

  • Bridge from another chain if needed

Once the transaction completes, you will hold USD1 on Ethereum mainnet.


Step 4: Complete Your Pre-Deposit

After acquiring USD1:

  • Return to the pre-deposit flow

  • Proceed with your USD1 pre-deposit for the Sport.fun sale

USD1 must be acquired before applications close.


Why USD1 Is Required

Each Legion sale may support different assets depending on the project’s setup.

For Sport.fun, the sale is explicitly denominated in USD1, meaning:

  • Deposits in USDC will not be accepted

  • USD1 must be acquired before depositing
